I almost run out of cleanser, so I decided to stock up some. Benton’s products are currently on sale on Stylekorean.com soooo I decided to make my purchase.
Around 2 years ago, I tried Benton’s toner – the aloe vera, and I absolutely love it. It’s a mild, gentle toner that helps to ease redness and takes off some dirty particles in my pores. However, I have never tried any more products from Benton since then.
Green tea as the main ingredient sounds great for a cleanser, and it works pretty well for acne prone, oily – combination like me.

Notable Ingredients:
- Green Tea: an antioxidant, great for soothing redness to irritated skin
- Centella asiatica (Cica): helps to improve skin texture, while maintaining skin barrier as it encourages healing (damage from acne)
- Willow Bark: an antioxidant, helps to balance oil secretion, reduces pore sizes, comes with anti inflammatory effect
- Heartleaf: soothing and protecting the skin
This is what the texture looks like when you squeeze it out. A milky cleanser that has a light scent of “spicy green tea”. It’s kinda feel like the spiciness of tea tree, but not that strong!
When gets in contact with lukewarm water, it bubbles out! My very first impression after using this cleanser was that my skin didn’t feel tighten at all. Some cleansers are too strong, in which they deep cleanse out pores, but this cleanser from Benton might range in the middle. Still, my skin felt clean, bright, but I could still definitely feel some hydration left in the skin barrier.
